sound packs

Now that I have almost everything working with Vista there is one thing that has bugged me from the start and that is the sound pack. I just do not know why it is the same as XP. I am just trying to find a new sound pack. I am just wondering if MS has anything for us yet.

Windows Vista will have brand new sounds when it is released ... hopefully we will get to hear them in a few months when they release RC1! :)

That may come at release. About six months ago there was some press given to recording sessions being done by a noted musician for Vista theme sounds. I suspect that the sound scheme will be a goodie saved for the final.

That's right. I just couldn't recall the name. It cost MS plenty and I am sure they don't want the first impression on hearing it to wear off before release.
